SmokinLicious® Woodscuit® - Flavour Enhanced Wood (Not available at this time)

At Smokinlicious®, we’ve developed a process to impart flavouring into our hardwoods. As a result of our commitment to bring the best of, as well as a variety of flavouring to the barbecue enthusiast, we offer a range of flavourings that are compatible with an array of foods. This process allows the flavouring to be absorbed by the wood bringing the moisture content to 45%. The entire process allows for customizing desired flavour to the smoking process. The result – a Woodscuit® - a thin, flavour enhanced hardwood that can be added to the grill or smoker, whole or snapped into desired piece sizes. All flavours are made from natural ingredients when available and are FDA approved.

Our Flavour Enhanced Woods are only produced in small barrels, not in a large commercial facility! Our Flavour-ologists supervise each barrel to ensure that the proper intensity of flavour and soak time are met. Our Woodscuits® are produced specific to both the hardwood species and natural flavour additive. This allows the barbecue enthusiast as well as the home user the luxury of customizing flavours specific to their own individual smoking needs. Some of the standard flavour mixes include:

• Sugar Maple – Apple, Bourbon, Jamaican Rum, Peach, Pecan, or Walnut Woodscuit®
• Wild Cherry – Apple, Bourbon, Jamaican Rum, Peach, Pecan or Walnut Woodscuit®
• Oak – Apple, Black Cherry, Bourbon, Jamaican Rum, Lemon, Peach, Pecan or Walnut Woodscuit®
• Ash – Bourbon, Coconut, Jamaican Rum, Peach, or Pecan Woodscuit®

We are proud to ensure that there are no pesticide contaminants in our gourmet woods, an issue normally found in orchard-producing woods such as apple, peach, apricot and grape.
